2004 Allroad

Hi everyone,

I just got a 2004 Allroad with premium Bose and XM satellite radio. I would like to get a radio-end Icelink Kit for my iPod, has anyone of you done this succesfully with the Bose premium and XM in an A6?

Also, when my ignition is turned on but the radio head unit is turned off, I got some static noise coming from all the speakers, it is not very loud but I can hear it when sitting in traffic, just a slight sissing sound. It looks as if the amplifier doesn't turn itself off when turning off the head unit. Does anyone of you recognize this? Dealer says they all do it and it is normal...I checked two other Allroads, one had it, another one without Bose didn't. Wondering if anyone else has this.

i have a 2004 2.7T, a trusted auto stereo shop has looked into different solutions for me to directly gain aux access for my ipod. Unfortunately, there is something different about the '04 with XM, and no current "harnesses" are made to do the job...i was told to wait, or install a new head unit...hmm, maybe DVD navigation is in order!
