Coolant sensor inhibit start Yes or No?
Can the coolant sensor that installs behind the engine inhibit a 2.7 from starting? Is there a way to test this sensor to see if it is good or bad before installing a new one.
Also, other members have confirmed that o2 sensors are not required to start the engine. This is correct?

As far as I know, the crankshaft position sensor (CPS or rpm sensor) is the only one who will not allow the engine to start.
Do you have icms on your car? I've seen people having issues with starting when the icm plugs were crossed, one icm should have the black plugs and one should have the brown ones.
