how to access radiator fan control module
need help !
I have removed the front bumper, but still cannot access to the fan control module mounting.
Do I really need to remove the radiator ? for just replacing this simple rectangular box.
If it is too difficult, I am planning to install the new fan control module without removing the old. just unplug the old and leave it as it is., then plug ti the new module. but not sure if it is the propor way.....

Of course, it is not the proper way. Keep removing things until you have full access to the fan control module... that is the proper way.

I have replaced it twice on two different C5, from the bottom. No need to take the front off.
As I recall placing the front in service position helps but is not needed. Considering how far into this, it may be advisable. The module is secured with two 10mm nuts, which can be removed from the bottom.
