Hello, issues regarding EVAP system and how to check the evaporator purge valve.
Ok, so the 01 ATQ has the much familiar P0441 code regarding the EVAP emission control system, so it's something to do with the evap purge valve and/or issues with topping off.
I've read that you can check the solenoid but have no idea where it is or how to check it.
I would like to know how do I perform the output test and perform basic settings using the VAG-Com. Any other tests recommend with the VAG-COM to figure out what the issue could be.

I chased that code for a year and two new purge valves..turned out the charcoal <more>
cannister back near the gas tank was full to the brim from topping off and causing the purge valves to fail after a few months...depending on the year of your car I would change both and be rid of the problem once and for all.
