Default Headlight Washers

This may be a dumb question, but I just bought a 2003 Audi A6 3.0 with 17k miles but without an owner's manual, and I can't seem to figure out how to make the headlight washers work. I was told they would automatically come on when I activated the windshield washers, but they're not. What am I missing here?

Default Do you have the headlights on? The headlight washers will only

spray if the headlights are on.

Default specifically, you have to spray the windshield 3 or 4 seconds continuously before the

headlamp washers will function.

You're right. When I turned on the headlights, the washers worked fine. Thank you very much.

On seperate topic, I just ordered the 9-spoke audi wheels with the same 235-40-18 tires as yours. Do you have any issues with rubbing, poor ride, etc?

Default No problems so far : )

It's hard to tell what effect these tires have on ride quality though. My H&R/Bilstein HD combo is very firm, and makes the ride quality poor in general.

Default search is your friend

on a 2.7t you should not have any rubbing issues, unless the car is slammed
