Default The answer was no...find a good UV-resistant clearcoat or it won't last 6mo.

The 3M kit is good for refinishing prior to selling (LOL) but if you want it to last/restore it to OEM specs you need something like a UV resistant linear polyurethane. It's not so much the GV-sourced UV that fogs/yellows the lens as the UV put out by the HID themselves, although clearly (!) cars parked in the sun and/or air pollution such as the Meadowlands or say Texas City refineries all day will yellow quicker.

Default Don't use krylon....find a good autobody shop and get theirs...

It's basically a good UV clearcoat.
