Default Hazard relay removal

I'm currently having a problem, I have removed the trim, and released the switch from it's spring clips. The module won't slide out more than an inch and a 1/2. Wires must be caught?? Has anyone had this, or am I just lucky? I can't even pull it out far enough to see the wiring harness. I know I'm gonna have to start pulling things apart. Just wondering if you all have any advice? Thanks

I'd pull out the cup holder/card drawer and see if I could get a finger behind..

Default If you can get access enough to slip a jewelers flat vlade or a good knife in there,

try that after spraying some WD-40 around the seams. Just work it carefully and it will eventually give in.

Far from necessary. See my post above. Took five (5) minutes, start to finish.

Default I pulled the switch off of the clips, but I can't get it to slide out, it slides freely until

I'm about to see the wiring harness. I'm guessing there are wires caught, are you saying to use a knife to try to locate the caught wires and unhook them? I'm gonna pull the cup/card holder next.

To clear things up, I'm at the stage where you just slide it out and disconnect the wiring, but it won't slide out enough to do so

Default No, if you have the relay part way out, and the clips released, (not slipping back into place

when you aren't looking, then the back aprt of the switch should be very easy to release with the help of some WD-40 and a thin blade knife. Removing a cup holder or radio is absurd. There's plenty of wire there to allow proper access. Pry the wiring connector against the relay itself.
