Default H&R's are stuck, rendering them unadjustable. Any suggestions?

I had the wheels off the other day after having removed my bad ABS module (another story), and noticed a significant amount of thread left on the shocks. Since i've been having some clearance issues i thought i'd raise them up a bit, but i couldnt get the damn things to budge. Soaked in PB blaster, tried again and no luck. I'm afraid i'm going to break/bend/damage something if i yank too hard.

Is it okay to really wail on the wrenches, as i've heard stories of the perches kinda freezing in place? Also, since my kit didn't come with instructions, could anyone describe the proper adjustment process, with the two wrenches? I'd been so far assuming that it isn't rocket science, but i've been known to do dumb things.

TIA

Default I can't help, sorry, but fyi when I installed STaSIS-Ohlins my indy told me

to bring the car back in the fall for a fresh dose of anti-seize compound due to winter abuse, snow, salt etc. So if you get them freed up, put compound on there regularly

Default the best thing to do is spray them with some pb blaster and a little wd40, let them sit for a bit

and try again....every time i have the wheels off the car i hit the threads with a wire brush and a little wd40 and they stay fairly easy to move....good luck

Default The H&Rs on my 2.7T were frozen in place too...

...so I just sold the car :PPPP

Actually, I was going to try to raise it up as well just a bit so it would be a bit less aggressive looking...but a guy in his 60s or 70s bought the car anyway! I see the car here and there since he lives the next town over.

He's the coolest guy in his age-restricted apartment complex!!!
