I feel the same. It is a shame that the changover was not better implemented as the whole debarcle was created by poor planing and management.

Time is great healer.

In many cases (mine included tho I have not left, just shifted primary focus elsewhere) the "other issues" are as simple as not wanting to waste time wading through vB's typical crappy isolated-thread type of viewing (I'm very familiar w/ it from other places). The threaded view helps alleviate that somewhat but IB will never win back all the good faith & loyalty they pissed away by botching the transition.

The original post belongs in Feedback. Feedback is about the forum. C5 is about C5. I'm all for a little topic drift, but a post that far off topic when emotions are running high is out of place and inflamatory.
Either way, your ok in my book. I dont expect to make everyone happy but you will see me around here a little more now. Becasue as I said I like this format for posting and I only felt comfortable perusing the old.

Placating the old users and attracting new posters would be the best possible outcome.

Default I do not.

I have no idea how to use this format and see no reason to learn... especially (but not solely) with all my friends gone. I may not be the greatest contributor but I certainly had a place here. I bought from sponsors and shared my admittedly limited knowledge whenever I could. My pictureposter shows years of experiences with AW friends at GTG's and outings. I do not visit other forums... just this one, and I simply feel completely unmotivated to adapt to this mess. Maybe the fact that I do not frequent other forums makes this a more significant loss.

Although I am responding to you (I think), this is not really a criticism of you... enjoy.

WTF is "Bump" anyway... forget it, I don't care.

I think I may have found a pub down the road that has my kind of beer.

you don't have to, switch to threaded view and it'll look pretty close to what it was before...

Seriously, the more I mess with this, the more I am confused. It took me ten minutes to figure out how to respond to you. I don't care what anyone says, this is not intuitive... I'm trying though.
