After 2 months of my car being in the p/b shop, i finally got it back last night. As usual, the battery was dead and the shop had re-charged it. My hidden EQ settings were reset to 55555555, so I went to change it. BTW this is for bose symphony. Not remembering exactly the buttons to push, I pushed the volume **** and p scan **** and held it in for five seconds (I remembered later it was the volume and 5 key). Anyways, I found another settings menu. In it is a way to change the radio tuning from Dx to local, an RM adjustment (not sure what that is), and a few more settings for volume, nav, and another one I can't remember. I STFA and didn't see anything and looked in the owners manual and couldn't find anything about this either. I have yet to change the Dx function to local, but my hope is that the scan feature will work better. Anyways, have you all seen/heard of this? Any insight? The nav and volume were set to three out of five, so I'm not sure if these settings are adjustments relative to each other, or serve some other function. HTH

Also, I noticed your 57 MGA. I had a '58. It was fun to drive but was always in need of repair. People couldn't believe it did not have "real" windows and you had to pull a wire to open the door. My buddy had a Triumph TR3 and we used to cruise and repair together.
