Help: Weird Heat/Ac Problem
01 2.7t auto
ok so i turned on my heat last night and for a min it was kinda warm and then its gets cold as if i turned on the a/c. today i had the temp on high and it was like having the a/c on??? then i turned it down to low to see what would happened..still stayed cold but the car started to rough idle and the abs and traction light came on...i then turned it back up to high turned the car off and back on and the lights went away.
ive never experienced anything like this. i mean i know what its like if you need to bleed your system or something but its def not that plus i have messed with that at all. the car temp shows normal at all times. The fuse is fine..
im really stumped here..Any help would really be appreciated

that's inexplicable, at least by me.
but one answer for the cold air bit would be a mixture issue. Temperature is effected by mixing cold and hot air together in the proper proportion. If that valve gets confused, or stuck, oyu can get the wrong mixture.
From what you describe, i suspect an overall electrical malfunction whcih simply made many systems go haywire. If memory is corrupted, or voltages are wrong, this can happen.
If it went wya upon restart, you gave you car the equivalent of "control-alt-delete".
Did it work? Did the blue screen go normal :-)
Sorry, but some thigns are best not chased. Come back if it does.
