enabling DRL on a 00 2.8?
Hi folks,
I'm wanting to enable daylight running lights on my C5 and was wondering if anyone has successfully done this through a vag-com?
If not, does anyone have a relatively easy workaround that allows a hardwired connection?
I've seen the following thread:

But based upon the responses not sure many folks with a C5 have been successful.

Bueller....Bueller...anyone??? ;)
no responses so far...anyone have insight...
BTW, I tried this via vag-com today, all that was changed was the miles were changed to km and no change to the actual DRL/lighting.

found it! Answer from QW member
Got this from a quattroworld member and will be doing this on my C5 tomorrow:
So easy and a definite WIN.
Always, parking lights to be always on when ignition is on.
The mod takes all of five minutes to do. You need to pull out the headlight switch by pushing in on the switch and turning clockwise a few degrees. This releases the switch from the dash. Once you pull the switch out you can see all of the wiring behind it.
You need to bridge the connection between the ignition (Yellow/Black) and the left (Green/Red) and right (Green/Black) parking light circuits.
