I recently found 2 A6 dash clusters. The part numbers are: 4B0 919 930 RX and 8D0 919 881 MX. Anyone know what they fit exactly? Thanks.

Based on my research on part numbers alone, the 4B0 919 930 RX should directly fit an early model C5 A6 up to and including the '01 model year. It's a US market cluster reading up to 160 MPH.

The 8D0 919 881 MX cluster OTOH would fit a B5.5 A4 up to the '01 model year. It's a Canadian market cluster reading up to 260 KM/H.

Both clusters should have the driver info display, oil temp and volt gauges plus the old sk00l analog clock. AFAIK the C5 A6 got itself a new fangled digital time and date display for the '01 model year.

I just looked at the MY '00 A6 USA brochure, and it indicates that a digital clock is standard across all engines and trim levels.

If you need a new cluster, I'd get it despite the clock.

My american 2000 a6 had the electronic clock....and nothing left of the center display.

This thing has that idiotic immobilizer in the cluster right? That display has driven me insane slowly since I bought the car 3 years ago.
