My drivers side window goes down just fine but when I go to roll up it usually stops about half way and dies out. I have to force it up with hand while holding the switch with the other and it doesn't go easy. I pulled the door panel off and didn't notice any problems. Any suggestions?

Actually, no. Most likely the faulty window guides. Relatively easy DIY. STFA.

I have an A6 2000 2.7T which has had the same problem for several years. I continued to help the window up with my hand while holding the power button. Finally, I asked the dealer why Audi doesn't fix this at their cost. This is a design flaw on their part. So I then asked if there were any Recalls outstanding on my VIN. The dealer checked and said yes there is one. The LQ Recall addresses the window fix for both front door windows. I asked why wasn't I notified of this outstanding recall. No reply. It might be worth it if you ask your Audi dealer if there are any outstanding Recalls on your VIN--specifically the LQ Recall (part of the front bumper recall). This recall was 3.3 hours and approximately $50 in parts.
