The seats are a dead giveaway. On the '02+ 4.2's, the 5 spoke forged rims were a standalone option, so you can't count on them for determining sport or non-sport.

Thanks. The seat "wings" didn't look as big as mine so I wasn't sure.

Default Yup. I started when you did and the 4.2 is so darn hard to find on the west and the deals aren't
great either.

Default There was a nice 2002 A6 4.2 sport silver over black and the solar package...
we worked out a price, but just before I sent a deposit, the guy in Chicago called me to tell me the car was for sale again (buyer flaked).

Lucky me, I only had to drive the car 1008 miles home frmo Chicago vs. many more miles from CA! I don't thinks Grapeking would have joined for that road trip!

Be patient...you'll find it!

Default Rear seat's don't look like sports...
My 2001 Sport rear seats are deep, almost like sport buckets.
