Dealer won't fix warped rotors?
Carlsen of Palo Alto Audi dealer will not replace warped brake rotors under warrantee. My 2001 Audi A6 has had the brake rotors warped repeatedly 4-5 times over the last 4 years. All previous times the work had been under warrantee. Today the dealer claimed that Audi has stop this warrantee and I have to pay for this myself. The car is still under warrantee, but the dealer claimed that Audi changed just this part regarding brake rotors. What can I do about this? Sorry if this has been posted before. I am kinda upset.

Yes, Audi is cracking down on rotor replacement. One set under warranty is all the new owners gets.
I think I heard that BMW has started this policy too, since people would take the car to the track and trash it, then come back for fresh parts.
Are you sure you don't just have pad deposit build-up? Are you breaking in the pads and rotors correctly when you get a fresh set?
It hard to offer more without knowing how you drive.

I don't trash it...
...and I don't track it. The car's at the dealer now, they said the rotors are warped, they will give me new pads under warrantee.
Still have to fix the warp, will have to do it at an outside shop, as the dealer wanted >$800 for front/rear.

Here's the Service Circular
I've heard that there is a subsequent memo that loosens this language a bit.

http://gates-home.com/jim/Audi/AoA_brake_coverage.pdf</a
