Default Dealer recommendations in SF Bay Area? Buying Advice?

I'm going to pick up an A4 Avant 1.8T for the wifey in the next two weeks. Problem is, inventory is low this time of year so I have to find a good dealer to work with that can find me what I'm looking for and transport it to the bay area.

Anyone have any recommendations on dealers or salespeople? I've heard Rector, Diablo & Anderson-Behel. Who should I work with?

Also, any buying advice would be much appreciated, like how much to pay over invoice or what to look out for and keep in mind.

What kind of incentives and year end deals exist?
Can I still take advantage of the Audi Loyalty program (for 2nd time buyers) mentioned on this board?

Thanks in advance...

Default I know a guy at Rector who should be able to help you...

he is excellent...very nice guy. I'm going to call him in a few minutes and I'll ask him if he can help you. His name is Alberto...sometimes he seems a little clueless, but he'll really try to get you anything you need.

Default Geordie @ A-B or (forgot his name) at Diablo in Concord

See my early posts and you can trace through the entire experience. I feel better about buying from A-B pretty much every day, and they're EXTREMELY good about scheduling service dates for me. Not complaint free, but my complaints are posted here too...

Default Rommey@A-B is Sales Manager or Terry in Internet/Fleet Sales

Both are good to work with. Be right up front and tell them what you want. Tell them that Jeff from AUTOLAND sent you. If they give you any issues feel free to get in touch with me, I am a broker. Service on my car has been very good, and am glad I purchased from this dealer. Can't speak for the other dealerships in the area. These guys matched prices with my SoCal dealer.

Default Yeah, Bill's a good guy...just retired though...got my 4.2 from him...

getting the S6 from his partner Alberto, and eventually getting the TT Roadster or Boxster from him also

Default Unfortunately, David L. is no longer at Rector or with Audi (more)

Another fine alternative at Rector is Otis Griffith.

Mitch
