Clear coat help, please
99% of paint is in great shape, however, this little area has gone to poo in the last month. I am not sure what got on it, but it is a heavy etch.
Any ideas on an attack plan....I have a flex and every pad/compound I could possibly need.

Offhand I'd say just compound out the problem and respray/blend with new clearcoat.
SOMETHING really etched the clear coat.

That sir is beginning of a clearcoat failure. No special compound can fix that clearcoat. A respray is needed to fix that. Funny how some VW/Audi have clearcoat failure even when you wash/wax a couple times a year.
