Default best source & price for O2 sensors

Who is the best source for oxygen sensors? B1S1 & B2S1. Do not care if they are not OEM just want same quality and performance.

I have a DTC for intermittent B2S1. Takes a trip or three for it to trigger. Is it time to replace this?

depends what the code is ..but i consider O2 sensors a consumable part anyway ... if you dont care if its pretty get a univeral Wideband Bosch and splice it in with the kit they provide. if you want you can pay a little more for the OE connector on it .

get yourself an o2 sensor socket while your at it ..

I don't. They're supposed to last 80-100K miles depending on the car and emissions warranties.
I have cars well into 100+K miles (one over 180) and OEM 02 sensors.
Only emissions problem I've had is the cats on my 02S6…one replaced under warranty at 80+K miles (Audi extended the warranty to 10 years 100K on that car) when the flex pipe went and I had the second one replaced at around 110K with an OEM (yes spendy) cat.

Guess I was not sufficiently clear. I am looking for a source (a name and/or website or phone #) that sells OEM or equal for a good price.

I have 166k miles and these will be my 2nd replacements.

Thanks

What I did when I purchased my last 02 was to go to a website like FCP Euro or Europa Parts to get the exact part numbers I needed depending on the location of the 02 on the car. Some of them have descent prices but overall, you can do a lot better. For reference... I purchased my Bosch direct fit 02 Post Cat for $55 from Amazon with free two day shipping. The same 02 on either of those websites was close to $135... As long as you have the Bosch part number you'll be fine.

Exactly…you have to shop around almost every time you want to buy something…try FCP Euro or Groton or somesuch first because of their lifetime warranty…dunno if it applies to 02 sensors but for the people that consider them consumables, a lifetime warranty is pretty good.

I just did all 4 sensors on my car. I have 265,000 miles on my car, and quite honestly my sensors were probably still working fine, but I figured it was time. I bought 4 Bosch sensors from Rockauto.com for $50-60 each. They were OEM, but they have two different connectors. They came with a spare connector for the car wiring, and I had to pop the pins out of the housing on the car and put them in the new connector, but it wasn't hard and it worked well. I think that's about as good as you are going to see - $50-60/sensor.

So how do you get 265,000 miles on your sensors? I put Shell premium in my car at least 50% of the time. More like 75% maybe. I use Techron 2-3 times per year (only drive ~ 15,000 miles per year). And do routine maintenance. But I get the DTCs indicating failed or intermittent O2s. What is the trick?
