The main reason though was I was reading they might need a specific charging rate to really realize extended life or better performance or some jazz like that. I didn't want to push my luck with having trouble charging it if I went on a vacation and let the car sit too long or something compared to the standard battery. Oh well, $165 before tax and a $15 core.
