AUdi A6 radio code.
I just bought Audi 1999 A6.
I had to do some work so i disconnected battary.
As now my AUDI concert radio is in SAFE mode.
I need a code. I looked at owner manual.
And on the top i saw a nuber. It was written on the top of owners manual with a marker. Can it be radio code? It is 4 digitals: 4915.
Do radio codes have any restrictions? Like: they can not start with 0 or something.

Which Concert Radio do you have?
Hi Bariukas,
I had the Concert I and now own a Concert II radio. The two radio's operate differently when entering the safe code. However, you are correct in saying it's 4 digits. I would consult your radio's manual, as it should say in there. If you are still experiencing problems, I can guide you through it. Just let me know which model radio you have.

Have you run through all the steps entering the safe code?
If you have run through all the steps entering the code correctly then I would guess that your code in incorrect and that you would need to contact you local audi dealer.
Just to confirm you have held down FM and RDS until you see 1000 appear. Then enter your code using the preset numbers 1-4. 1 being the first digit, 2 being the second and so on... This has always worked with my Concert I and Concert II radios. Let me know the outcome...
