Default Not sure if you have a C4 or C5 model A6

There is another forum for the C4 cars.

There is a speed minder that you can set on the trip computer for both when you exceed or go under a particular speed. Sounds like yours has been set to 20kph. See your manual. Should not require VAG tool to reset to another speed or switch off.

Yeah, I've accidentally set this as well. The disable procedure is in the manual.

Default Re: possible solution

Well, I have a german A6 but probably the procedure is be the same. There are two pushbuttons on my instrument cluster, an if you shortly press the left one at letīs say 120kph, you have this variable speed limit warning activated at 120kph, which will appear when you exceed this limit for more than 10 seconds. To disable it, you have to leave the car roll in 1st gear an then hold the button until the symbol (the yellow one in the cetral display) is crossed by two lines....that is all, no more variable speed warning.
