No, but I learned it from some of the S4 guys who learned the hard way.

FWIW, I run NGK Copper BKR7E, I just change them every 7500 miles or so. I gap them at .28

How did you come up with .28? That doesn't line up with Audi's suggestion.

Default In short, my car is "slightly" modded. This gap works well for my combination of mods and boost

levels.

Default I learned from talking to a tech at NGK that the PRF6Q plugs that came OEM on 2.7t engines, have the

lowest resistance of any plug NGK makes. When I asked about equivalent plugs in Iridium or non-exotic metals, he told me that there is no other recommended plug or equivalent for this OEM plug due to the resistance value. Could be BS or it could be true, but I tested the BKR7E and the Iridium IX in that size and heat range and the resistance was significantly higher than for the PRF6Q plug. My conclusion is don't use anything else for the 2.7t application unless you have a VAG-COM and your coilpacks are in great shape!

Default I have these in an older Acura and they are running great for 20k+ miles now. No Audi/Vw experience

but my plan is to put them in a 2.8L 30V ATQ engine very soon.
