I decided to pick up the '01 4.2 I've been drooling over for the past few weeks. Not sure if you guys are familiar with this car or not, but here's the details.

The good:
New transmission
65,000 miles
Almost perfect paint and black leather interior.

The really good
PSS9 Bilstein coilovers
2B big brake kit with front 6 piston calipers and larger rear disks
Jline forged 20" wheels
Magnaflow exhaust
Momo shift ****, like I really car about that, I guess it looks nice.
LED tailights

I was aware of the problems he had, I can tell you that it drives like a dream right now. He's obviously found every little thing wrong with the car and addressed it, which is about all you can ask when buying a used car. There's still a little CPO left, so I'll address anything that may pop up.
