T-belt due at 65k, 75k or 105k?
I have another guy who wants to sell me a 90k car, but no t-belt and water pump done. adamant that it's not overdue...
what's the cheapest a t-belt and water pump could be done for with parts and labor

Sport package, all the way. Wasn't that the year the TC was updated too? That alone would be the
winning car, unless you could verify the fluid/filter was changed at 30k intervals. trust me on this.

Doesnt anyone read except thier own posts and questions? 7 yrs/60k all porevious superceded
Sorry to appear a curmudgeon, but In the last several months I must have posted 10 times that the official factory repair manual has stated that all previous T-belt maintenance intervals have been superseded by 7 years / 60k recommendation. This is due to "premature" failures. (they dont write that part down).
I thought the purpose of forums was to share info in a format where we all read, learn and contribute from/to each others' questions, issues, etc.
That said, I feel 75k is probably safe. But keep in mind the cost of being wrong.

Everything is negotiable. If you like silver, lowball them $4K.
If you can take the green, clearly $1K is not enough of a premium for one year newer and nav, so the 2002 for the win.

some differences...
01 has...
older style interior as far as buttons and whatnot.
Smaller projectors in the headlights.
Carbon Fiber looking license plate surround.
HP2 Brakes up front.
Memory seats standard, I think it was option for 02+
02 has...
updated button feel/look.
Bigger 90mm projectors in the headlights with much more output.
Black license plate surround.
Smaller calipers up front.
30% thicker glass I believe.
I'm sure I'm missing somethings.
I have an 01 and love it. Never had any problems at all with it. I looked at all the options, but I decided I wanted the pre 4.2 facelift model for the stupid little things like the license plate surround and the brakes. I much want the headlights off an 02+ though, the light output is superior. As mentioned, the nav should not play a role in the decision. It is beyond terrible and worthless. I have it on mine and am taking it out to put the cupholder in the center console that should be where the controls are.
