a6 4.2 or 2.7t
Im between a 4.2 or a manual 2.7t. I have my fast summer car (91 toyota mr2 turbo) I had an audi TT before, love audi since then but not so much the electrical.
-Are timing belts still crap at around 60k on 2.7 and 4.2?
-Does the chip really make a diff on the 4.2?
i test drove both and compared to the summer car its a big difference, and i dont want to spend mod money on this car, only make it look nice wheels suspension etc. So im leaning toward the 4.2. any comments or suggestions?

this has been discussed over and over again.......
it depends on what you're going to do with the car........if you want to mod it crazy like......get the 2.7t....if you want a nice highway cruiser get the 4.2......different cars altogether......the chip is not worth it........do a search.....many, many, many threads about this comparison..........btw....the tb should be done on these cars at around 80k max.......

Maybe not, but we DO like people who search first...
...timing belts are a standard issue for most cars, and a forum with thousands and thousands of posts for a car model spanning 6 years will DEFINITELY have posts concerning it.
