Default I cant take practicality out of it - nto just for family reasons
If you want to compromise practicality for fun, there are choices i would look to before the TT 3.2 - some BMWs, Porsches, even a vette - real sports cars.

If you are NOT willing to make that compromise, then I'm back to point #1 - S4. Heck, get an S4 avant.

Default I like it as much as the next guy, but in traffic.. I'd take a DSG any day..
Granted, living in Vermont, I seldom encounter traffic.
