2000 Audi A6 2.8 AHA misfire
I recently picked up a 2000 A6 with a 2.8 I am constantly getting Cylinder 5 misfire. I have swapped injectors, spark plugs, wires. Still getting misfire #5. Compression on bank 2 is 4-150,5-140, and 6-145. I have swapped #3 and #5 top to bottom to see if it moves over to 3, no luck. Could coolant temp sensor cause this? Anybody have any idea. TIA

Are you getting any cel codes or losing coolant?
Have you looked at the original plug close and the wire boot inside?
The CTS would cause more issues than this.

two codes, p0305 for the misfire and p1197 for bank2 sensor 1 o2 sensor. Original plugs looked ok. losing no coolant. I just looked at it again. I got shocked by touching the top lug of #5 and #6 spark plug wires while it was running. I think a new set of wires are in order.
