Default 2000 4.2 front wheel bearings are shot...

I thought it was my tires but when I just put my new wheels/tires on (Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions on 19" BBS LM replicas), they are just as noisy as before. With 134,000 miles, I couldnt expect to get any more life out of these front wheel bearings especially with the car being as low as it is, driving in the city, etc.. What am I looking at for this repair in terms of costs at the dealer? Maybe I'll head to NGP or Induktion Motorsports if its an arm and a leg...

Default Both front wheels bearings? Are you sure? Seems extremely unlikely.

Are your wheels the correct offset?

Default No I'm not totally sure... but what else could it be?

No... theyre obviously not the correct offset at all. The A8L wheels are 19x8.5, 45et so to fill the wheel wells, I am running 15mm H&R spacers. I'm sure theyre giving the wheel bearings a beating. The new wheels are also 19x8.5, 45et and I'm running the same spacers and same size NEW 245/35-19 tires. The noise was not there a year ago and gradually got louder which I assumed was from the obviously cupped/feathered tires (Dunlop Direzza's go quick). I put the new wheels/tires on and noticed a bit of play in the drivers side hub. Pass side seemed tight. 1st road test was almost the exact same noise as before the wheel/tire swap. Its got to be the wheel bearing(s). It roars lightly driving straight but not nearly as much as when I turn. Typically a wheel bearing noise will go away when turning and unweighting or changing the geometry of the loose bearing but thats when 1 is only bad. When turning both directions, I get noise so I gotta assume both are shot.

Default Yeah but...

It's expired now. I got about $800 in repairs out of it for the cost of the $2200 premium. So in retrospect, not worth it.
