Default 2002 A6 Quattro Avanti 3.0 Wagon

Just took over this car from my granddaughter. Bought for here when she turned 16 and got her license. Now has 197500 miles on it and it needs brakes. Would like to but new rotors and pads from and rear. I can not find out what parts I need. I ordered from Autozone but two days later they cancelled my order saying they don't have the parts. Part numbers are what I'm looking for I will do the job by myself. Just need the parts. Can someone help me?

Thanks.

It will be helpful if you have the information on the paper options sticker in the spare tire well. Audi has several options for the brakes and rotors. The rear rotors can be especially confusing.

The old rotors should have part number stamped in the metal somewhere near the center raised portion. May need to just measure the old rotors for diameter and depth of offset. Assuming you can't locate the original build sheet that george mentioned.

Default Brakes/ Rotors for a C5A6

Check out Tire Rack, https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi/ or https://www.fcpeuro.com.

All 3 can get you Stock or Performance

Bear in mind that you will still run into the same issue as individual models often had some options regarding wheel size, rotor size, and brake configuration. Build sheet or taking measurements is the only way to insure accuracy.

Tried your local Audi dealer? Provide them w/the VIN and they should know what parts/rotors the car needs.
