2.7t ignotion problem

fuel filter
Right after I got my 2.7t, my car would be hard to start. Later noticed a pool of gas in front of the right passenger side tire. Gas was dripping from the fuel filter located there. Each start would take a minute to repressurize the system, then no problems. If I let it sit, would hesitate on startup again. Still, most likely culprit would be battery.
Good luck

My money's on the battery. When you charged it overnight, did you check the final charge voltage? Did you check the voltage after it was off the charger?
I just had a dead battery in my mom's car that would charge to 13.5 volts (not good enough) and then after about 5-10 minutes off the charger it would drop right down to 11.5 volts. This batter "charges" in that I can put a charger on it and the charger will stop charging it at a certain level - but it will never start a car on its own again.
I would try the battery.

lmao - sorry, my bad. I must have missed the second page. Guess I am not much of a better - I even bet wrong after the problem was solved!
Glad it was the CTS. Much cheaper fix.
