150amp Fuse box on battery melted
My fuse box on to of the battery that holds a 150 amp fuse melted the other day. went a grabbed a new one from the wrecking yard(with fuse ) put it in ran the car for 5 min everything was fine, turned on stereo and redid auto windows, everything still fine, but when i turned the A/C on the wire going from my alternator to the + terminal got REALLY hot, QUICK too. So after it stops pouring rain, maybe tomorrow, im going to check my ground cable for the alternator. Poke around and make sure there are any loose connections, did today when i replaced the fuse box real quick and didnt really see anything. Anyone have any suggestions? Its a relatively new battery, about 6 months old. I have noticed my A/C is starting to make a little more noise then usual but i could just be looking for problems. The wire is fine if the a/c isnt running
