02 a6 rear seats won't lock upright

i dont have the manual for this car.. not sure if there is something wrong or what, but i can't lock the rear seats upright... the little red tab stays up.

Common problem: My indy fixed and didn't charge just by adjusting

the post. Took them less then 5 minutes.

Try turning the key to make sure they're not locked

Yup! All you need is a 17mm deep socket, and...

...loosen a locking nut so you can thread the post (by hand) in or out to get it lined up properly with the latch. Here is a picture of the locking nut...
