Audi should take note.....Now a real "Black Optic Package" is complete with a little additional "badge fix." Left the Quattro badges untouched because the pack I got from Ebay had only one black Quattro badge and it didn't look right. The original Quattro badges are black enough.

Front and rear badges in black, black fender badges and I believe black A6 badge.

I went one step further since my car was blue and had oem black mirrors and all door handles replaced also.

What I did on top of the Black Optic package.
Gloss black Audi rings front/back
Gloss Black A6 badge
Two gloss blacked out S-Line badges on the fenders.
Left the Quattro badges alone as they seemed black enough and plus only one came with the Ebay kit.

Plus: Huper Optik window tint. The darkest that Oregon allows all around.

love it! Every time I look at mine I think about ditching the chrome emblems. I may have to follow your lead.

Next is to install the kit to swap out the fake exhaust valance for an S6 style one with quad exhaust tips (in the garage until I find time to put it on)
Then I think I might be done with body mods. Unless DadAudi can convince me to add a rear spoiler. (It looks like he had two versions).

PS: DadAudi.. The Blue on your car was awesome. Worth the bank account hit in my book.

Swapping the badges had a bigger visual impact than I thought. I think you may be surprised too if you do it. I got mine for a decent price I think around $75 for the whole set on Ebay. Had to fish a bit to find one with S-Line fender badges for the C8.

Will be swapping the badges on the Q7 next.
