Default A6 shopping, advice needed

Shopping for a 2020 Audi A6. Saw couple of Premium Plus with low miles, one has Driver Assistance package, others have Convenience Package. Is there any overlap between these in terms of functionalities? Need help in deciding. Also, in 2020 A6 is there anything particular that may give trouble, that I need to look carefully. Loved test drives. Going to be a first-time Audi owner

Between 2019 and 2023 options and packages (and what feature was included in each one) were changing year to year. The only real way to answer your question for sure
would be either to look at the window stickers (they are obviously rarely available for used cars) or research each model by year to try and find the answers.

Before I bought mine, I dilly dallied for 4-5 years before I finally pulled the plug. It seemed that every year there were subtle changes in the option packages. On top of
that, they confused things more with the Sport packages. It became confusing. What was available as an option in 2019 may only be available now with the prestige package,
or not available at all. Even after I bought it, it took me some time to figure out what I had and what I didn't.

You really can't go wrong with these cars. (abuse notwithstanding)

Good luck in your quest!

Just another thought... Based on some things of seen throughout this forum, beware of some crazy stuff people do to their cars. Also, if
you can get a V6, all the better. Lots of very smooth power, though not that much different in gas mileage than the somewhat raspy, although
refined better than most, 4 cyl.

I'm curious as to what you end up with. Post a picture!

If you can - Go for the Prestige Model - I did the research, and a few things that it offers make it worth it:
Double-Pane Glass - quieter cabin
Soft Close Doors - not as much work to secure
HD Matrix Headlights - very easy with some help to convert to full Active Matrix <- This is VERY worth it.

Make sure you get one with the full ACC and I would recc the Executive Leather seats also They are much better and way more comfortable.

I am sure I am missing a few, but for a 2020 - I would suspect that the price diff isn't that huge.

I agree, the Prestige trim makes the car.

the only problem with the 2020's are that they are the 1st year of the new model, so lots of kinks being worked out

2019 was the first year. The prestige is nice if you want the better headlights but the double pane glass doesn't seem much more quite than my 2012 premium plus in my opinion. Where are you located? That may affect what packages you want and what's available to you. I'm in FL and absolutely wanted the warm weather package as well as the sport package and very few PP models had that combination.

My suggestion OP is the PP pkg paired with the executive pkg if you can find it. Again unless you have issues closing your own doors and are into lighting in general these things are nice, but costly to take care of when out of warranty. I can not stress enough to try the difference in seating as that’s if I am understanding life correctly, where you will spend the majority of your time being lol.

2020 A6 is largely a carryover from 2019 so refer to the 2019 brochure for the full options and packages list.
