Just did this coding mode and I really like the RS style taillights animation on my A6 Prestige!

Long coding? How did you do it?

Yes, long coding with VCDS on address 46, byte 37 - Bit 4 “INFO: SSBR_Variante”, change it from 0 to 1 (box checked). Also, have hood opened when making the long coding change.

I think only works on the Prestige taillights already with animation on lock/unlock. Not sure if it will work on lower trims.

The last one (Bit 4) that says "INFO: SBBR_variant". Just to be sure, have the hood opened when making the long coding change.

Which VCDS scanner do you use?

I used VCDS HEX-V2 Enthusiast.
It can be any VCDS with HEX protocol. I think even OBD11 will do that, but I have never used it.
