Actually there are three different versions:

4G0845099NVB - w/o HUD, w/o Driver Assist
4G0845099ANVB - w/o HUD, w Driver Assist
4G0845099BNVB - w HUD, w Driver Assist

All have provisions for rain sensor!

The glass company showed up again today without the correct windshield, despite assuring me two days ago that they had it. The repair tech confirmed all of the information about the car, noted the blurry, double image from the HUD in the windshield, and told me they are going to order the right windshield directly from the local Audi dealer. I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while for this.

Ah, thank you Jatmobil very much for posting this.
I am sure in the next year or two, it will come in handy.

I had my windshield replaced today. I made sure they knew I would only accept an OEM windshield which they had no problem with. They actually got it from an Audi dealer and installed it at my office. Took about an hour, total cost about $850 which my insurance is covering.

I'm waiting for the installer to arrive for my second replacement today. They told me they procured the correct windshield from the local Audi dealer. We'll see.

Mine did the same. I visited the dealer about a week after and they told me that they require the company replacing it or the insurance company to give them the proper specs or they will not release a windshield due to ordering/replacing inventory.

It seems like they have an issue with the HUD. I don't have the HUD so the windshield they installed is good. However, if I did have the HUD they never asked about it, and would have brought the wrong windshield. I had been following this thread and thankfully would have known to tell them to bring the HUD compatible windsheild.
