Default A6 fog lamps

I just noticed in my Audi 2015, that it does not have any fog lamps.
Strange because now days I think every single car comes with fog lights.

C7s with Xenon or LED headlights have not had foglight since launch, relying on either the DRLs or in the case of the LED programming of particular "bulbs". Since the facelift Halogen headlights are no longer offered, hence no foglights

In the U.S. you can still get LED and fog lights.

Fog lights are generally useless. They are mainly for show/fashion. Properly aimed fog light will illuminate at a very low angle and for a very short distance. The result is that they are good up to 15-25 mph. Today they are used at times for turning lamps but are there mainly for show ( "I have the delux model"). All to often I see people using them during the day or at night on the interstate. Even worse, the use of rear fog lights on clear nights

Rear fog lights are useful on the highway if it is truly foggy or during a heavy rain storm. But, in general, fog lights are useless and you are not missing anything.

With LED headlights? I think you are referring to the "static turn lights" otherwise known as "all weather lights" that are pointed down and to the sides. They can be activated manually or each will come on in a sharp, slow speed turn or below 25 mph if the turn signal is activated. Not really useful as traditional fog lights (not that traditional fog lights are all that useful anyway).

Global warming has eliminated "traditional fog", we now get fog that can only be viewed at the sides or within 15 feet in front of you.

Those are the fog lights and switch that I was referring to. I agree that just like "traditional" fog lights there usefulness is marginal.

I know fog lights are practically useless, but it has some aesthetic value 😀

If you want the aesthetics of having the appearance of fog lights order the driver assistance package. They are not fog lights, but they make the door look like it has traditional fog lights.
