I also had a slight vibration and the mechanic replaced the passenger side mount and no more vibration. Mechanic said good thing it wasn't the driver s side mount bc that looks like an all day project.

Both of mine have failed...I think it's safe to say that this problem will be seen by most everyone at some point.

So I took in the vehicle to an independent Audi/VW shop in my area with the full intention of replacing the mounts. They spent some time and came to the conclusion that it wasn't the mounts. They opened the engine oil cap to see if the vibrations would change and they said there was a dramatic difference. They think the PCV valve is toast. So my expected repair cost has gone down but we are only partially sure that this is a PCV related issue.. I gave them the go-ahead and hope it resolves the issue.

Thanks for the update. Keep us posted. The slight vibration came back for me but only on cold start around 1500rpm then when the vibration goes down no more slight vibration is felt.

The shop couldn't finish up putting the car together this evening. Will get it back tomorrow afternoon.

Well, that theory did not work out as panned. I now a functioning PCV, but the original issue persists. The tech said he needs to do some more research before recommending a solution. At-least now there is someone qualified working on finding a solution rather than just an owner.
