Hi,

I have this annoying noise on my A6. When I brake it makes this very terrible noise. Any idea what it can be?

Can you hear it from inside the car when all windows are rolled up?
It's hard to tell from your vid but is it coming from the brake or the suspension?
I'd bring it in just to be sure.

i have had a similar sound since day one. Almost like the pads are worn and grinding into the rotors. Dont notice when i am listening to the radio but if you turn it off notice it as soon as i touch the brakes

This seems to be a very common problem for new Audi cars. My 2012 A6 had the problem mainly in the first 7-8k miles, it becomes better after that. I complained to a salesman sometime back, and he let me tried a new A4, which had the same problem. I guess it is related to the initial break-in. This problem happens very often when the brake is wet.
