We have Huper-Optik ceramic film on my wife's BMW 325i.

The heat rejection is excellent but the film is not designed for cars. It does not do well with being heat-shrunk, and therefore exhibits a lot of ghosting/artifacts. It is also very thick and the backseat windows have been scratched badly from lowering & raising those windows over time.

On my next car, I will definitely get a ceramic film but I will be careful to choose a brand which has been designed for car use rather than home/commercial.

40% would be perfect IMO. Do it!
