Default brake upgrade for A6

I know brake upgrades for the front.

anyone know about the rear?

Brembo has for both ends. Probably not worth doing the rears though. They do less than 20% of the braking.

To each their own. Theres no way I could justify $4,000 for a purely visual mod. I'd probably just paint the stock calipers, put on a set of drilled rotors and call it a day.

you are right, I probably wouldnt do it, I just wanted to know since I didnt' see it on the brembo site. thanks

Its not on their site. Its a custom application for now. They haven't finished testing and all the other stuff required to put it into production.

I don't think that's entirely correct. Take into account traction control and the quattro factor, and it could be doing 80% of the braking 20% of the time. On all of my newer German cars, the rear pads were the first set to wear out.

Things may have changed since TC got common. Its been 15 years since I was in Tech School.

There is no rear for Brembo yet. Not even production plans yet. They are working on the B8.5 rear for now. =)

You sure? Thats not what I was told when I called. I was told I could special order a kit?
