I placed an A6 order on June 13th and it went into the factory order bank on July 7th. As of today it was still there and no estimated production date. That seems like a long time to be sitting there. I don't have any audi exclusive options that could slow it down. Is this time frame normal?

Did you confirm that your dealer has an allocation? I don't recall offhand, but I know that orders without allocations sit at some stage until an allocation is available....

It took exactly 1 month for mine to go from order bank to production date.

I had seen that thread as well but seeing was from 2010, I was thinking the process might be a bit different now. I see you are also on order in Colorado. Do you have any estimated dates on yours? Which dealer are you going through?



I did confirm the dealer has an allocation for my order or at least thats what he told me. I was told that was taking longer because there were production delays with the model year switch over. I don't necessarily believe that because I had a friend who ordered a 2015 in April and got his in 10 weeks. Seems like a lot of others on here have gotten their's in about 10-12 weeks as well.



Was the 1 month from the standard Audi Order Bank when the order was placed or from when it was sent to the Factory Order Bank?

I used Prestige on Colfax. We had another make from McDonald in the past and every time the car was in for service they broke something. My wife said 'never again' so we took our business elsewhere.

I ordered on Jun 2, was told I got an allocation slot. The salesman told me it got released to production July 1. It's currently sitting in Emden waiting to get on the Kentucky Highway, which is estimated into Houston Aug 18. My salesman is telling me I should have it before Labor Day weekend.
