Strange lighting behavior

Strange lighting behavior
Woke up this morning to my wife telling me that my "lights have been on ALL night! Your car might not start!"
And lo and behold, the DRL's front and back were on! Apparently for at least 7 hours.
I do remember getting into my car to check something, but I don't remember fiddling with the lighting.
Can anyone help explain this behavior? I just want to try to determine whether it is some kind of normal operation that I triggered or if its an electrical malfunction.
