Default S4 to A6

Have not posted for a very long time but I am in the middle of contemplating trading in my 09 S4 to a 3.0T A6. I test drove the A6 2 days ago and came away surprised by how well it drove. To cut the long story short I put on a set of 19" HRE P40 on the S4 and just wondering if the bolt pattern of the 4 and 6 are the same. HRE as everyone know is quite expensive and it would be nice if I can reuse them...

Yes, I believe that they are both 5x112 bolt pattern.

It should work. I had s5 rims on a b8 2010 s4 and now use them on my 2012 a6. See pics in gallery

That's a nice combo with the quartz gray. I saw a youtube video with that same combo (maybe it was yours?) and it mentioned it needed spacers with those S5 wheels? Are those 19's?

Were you able to sell the factory 19 sport wheels? Probably not a big market for them I suppose.

justhacking: if you go to tirerack.com it shows both cars with the same 5x112 bolt pattern as psychodo mentioned

Spacers just needs for front caliper clearance. Used 3mm spacers. That was my video. They are 19 inch. I kept the rims for lease turn in.
