Default my 2012 Audi A6 GTR 3.0

I am experiencing a very loud hum that lasts a minute or so. It is intermittent and service can't find it. No warning lights on dash. Any one have this problem.

What is "weird noises most cars make for $1000 Alex"..

No seriously. Where is it coming from, front/back? Car running at what speed? Bumpy road? Under what conditions? Cold or hot car? Morning, afternoon?

At first I thought it was coming from outside the car. I thought a motorcycle or loud car was revving it's engine. I was leaving our neighborhood on a 2 lane street when it happened and their were 2 ladies walking on the side walk almost next to me and they didn't look towards me so then I thought it was internal. Again it lasted just a minute or so. It seems to occur most often after I start the car and have been driving a short time. Once I thought it was connected to the heater because when I turn the heat off it stopped and then turned it on and the noise resumes. But that didn't prove to be the connection. I was told they blew out the blower motor and didn't find anything. Thanks for inquiring. I hope this helps.

Can you consistently eliminate the noise by turning off the HVAC? If so, then it's related to something in that system. It could be a faulty motor that opens/closes various vents. It could be the main blower itself. Blowing out the motor (whatever that means) won't cure a faulty bearing - the affected part will need replacing. Take it back and have them try harder.
