I just got a CPO 2012 A6...where do I find what update I have (if any)?

Specifically want to know so I can get the one that improve the Bose sound..

The manual would tell you to go to Menu>Setup MMI>Version information.
Latest MMI version is 715-2. Lots of threads on this.

Thanks! Ya, my CPO didnt come with a manual...the dealer is suppossed to mail me one.

Not correct, it is not the latest. 726 is the latest.

MY14 cars are beeing delivered with 726, and I just got it insateld on MY12 car yestereday no question asked…

What is different about 726? I have 715-2. Still think the Bose sucks compared to the B&O in my A4.

Yeah, forgot about the newest one. Would be interesting to know what it does over 715-2.

Mine would not. I had to have a legitimate issue to warrant the upgrade. Took me a week of fighting to get it done.

I didn’t play much with it as was busy @ work, however that much that I did I didn’t notice any changes. I had the 715-2 before.

I also noticed that they updated my navigation database. I did notice a lot of changes in the maps much more accurate and has more addresses…they did it free of charge BTW didn’t ask for any of it.

Took the car in for the 15K service and told them to check and update everything that is needed.

Forgive my cluelessness, but on my new 2014 when I press "Menu" I don't get a choice for "setup MMI". Am I doing something wrong, or is it different on the 2014?
