I don't have the new cable. The album art and time remaining not showing is in reference to streaming via Bluetooth on the 5C.

Sorry for the confusion.

Got the 715-2 update on Friday for my 2012 A6. I had 0566. Significant increase in Bass. However, I noticed no difference when i am streaming Pandora from my Galaxy S4. Time remaining and Album art doesn't transfer to the A6.

Also noticed a wifi icon under Source. Anyone know what you can connect? It says wifi media player but not sure exactly what that means..

Figured out the answer to WIfi media player. You can connect your phone to car wifi and stream audio from phone via wifi instead of bluetooth. If you can download MMI connect app to your phone and have in car data connection enabled, it will stream radio stations to the car..!

Just had my 25,000 km service and made some of the general complaints listed above. They upgraded my MMI software (was 0609, IIRC) to the latest and greatest. It does seem more stable, in the short time I've used it. Worth getting done, if you can swing it.

Would be interesting to hear what version you ended up with - some reports of only being brought to 715-2 when there's at least 726 out there...

715-2. According to the service report, it's the latest version they have (apparently it's distributed on a CD, which seems strange in today's world of high-speed internet and cheap memory sticks).

I finally managed to get the update; it only took a few month and change... what a stupid process.
Thanks to bogachev77 for confirming he got the update up here. For anyone else in Canada the TSB number I got on the workorder is:
"Update k0715 TSB-2032856/3"

Curious if customer has to pay for the update.

It all depends on the dealer and your relationship with them. Some will do it for good customers with no complaint and some will not. Some will want the customer to pay and others will do it under warranty. Since it takes a couple of labor hours and a service bay tied up, many will resist unless Audi approves the update under warranty and AOA will generally not approve it unless the customer has a problem that an MMI update corrects.

Best to search through this thread and others for those that stated a specific problem to allow the dealer to get it covered under warranty from Audi. There are several examples like problems with the Bose system, not being able to see song info with Bluetooth Audio and others.
