MMI Help!!! Adding iTunes Playlists to Jukebox
Just picked up my new 2012 A6. Newbie to MMI. Initially had no problems with anything, and it operates great.
Having a ton of trouble with loading/playing music. Anyone with MMI experience to offer advice???
I loaded about 10gb music to a 32gb SD card (supported). Music was in folders by playlist. I then added the playlist files from iTunes in .m3u format (supported) to the top directory of the card. Did an import into the jukebox. I got only some of the songs across. Many others were left off the import with no pattern that I can see. All songs are .mp3. None of the playlists transferred either. The Jukebox playlist folder just has recently played, star ratings... NOT transferred by me.
Then, when I try to play from the SD card itself, those same songs are greyed out and won't play giving some file damage error. Files are fine when I put the SD card into my comouter. Playlists play from SD card, but keep stopping due to the above error.
There has to be a way to load 20gb music to the Jukebox.
There has to be a way to load your own playlists. How else could you manage all that music, and why would they have a Playlist folder?
The Audi manuals offer no extra advice or support.

Try searching Jukebox in the A8 or A7 forum as they both have the same exact system.
From what it seems, the Jukebox is a nightmare. The only reason I may use it in the A7 is that you can view your album artwork. I may just stick with the ipod though.

I just used Soundtaxi to convert my ipod media to mp3's and copied them over on either a USB stick or SD card. Unfortunately, I don't use playlists apart from the ones on the ipod.
I'll give it a go after dinner and see what happens.
