Pisses me off so much... i refuse to drink in my car, for fear of spilling it on the MMI controller.
not only is it too small, its tight... if you put a cup of coffee in there, you are likely to grab it, have it get stuck, rid the lid off, and spill it everywhere

On the subject, mine is Feb built and therefore no Hill-Assist for me. Don't think I care about it yet.

Does the Multitronic/S-Tronic move the car slowly forward/reverse if in D/R like the Tiptronic does? Tiptronic is standard on the US 3.0T Quattro and hill assist is not realy required (I haven't tried a steep hill yet though). With S-Tronic or Manual I can see the benefits of hill assists, not with Tiptronic.

Yes, the car does roll forward if you are reversing on an incline. My driveway is sloped slightly downward and when I reverse into the garage, it does move forward when I don't have the brake or gas depressed.
